GET TO KNOW US
In 2014 the Lindsay Ministerial Association observed that there were many needs in the South end neighbourhood of Lindsay, and felt that the current churches were not equipped to meet these needs. Out of this discussion grew the idea of a new church plant, supported by the ministerial, that would have the specific mission of ministering to the South end.
Mike and Amanda Kleinhuis were invited to meet with members of the Ministerial in July 2014 to explore what it might look like for them to be involved in planting a church. In early 2015 they made the commitment to move to Lindsay, and began to build a core team and raise support to start a new church.
The Centre Community Church launched in January 2016.

Church plants rely on financial and prayer support from outside sources. God has blessed us with generous support from individuals and churches. The Centre gratefully acknowledges the support of the following churches:
The Centre values establishing relationships with existing organisations that have strong existing programs for community development and Kingdom building.
To build relationships in the community we come alongside organisations and make ourselves available as volunteers. Among the organisations we offer support to in this way are: King Albert School, the Boys and Girls Club, the Adult Education Centre, and the Kawartha Lakes Crisis Pregnancy Centre.
