What we believe about giving

In scripture we read that God calls us as believers to give generously and cheerfully, and we believe that tithing is part of our worship to God.

We are thankful for the generous support that we have received so far. The money that you give is being used for many purposes, including providing free lunch to students at our local school, providing food hampers for our community, and other outreach events like our summer BBQ.

If you would like to support The Centre financially we currently have three options:

E-Transfer

Donations can be sent directly to The Centre via interac e-transfer, directed to finance@thecentre.church. Remember to send a separate e-mail with a security question answer. You may be charged a small fee from your bank for this option.

Cash or Cheque

Normally we have a designated time during our worship service to give our tithes and offerings. Cheques can be made payable to “The Centre Community Church” and mailed to:

Canada Helps

Online donations can be made on our page at Canada Helps. Plese note that donations made through Canada Helps are subject to a service charge taken from the donation before The Centre receives it. If you would like your full donation to go to The Centre we encourage you to use the e-transfer option.

Spending of funds is confined to Board-approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the Board, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
